Setup of 3‑D Life Hydrogels

Use this form to calculate the volumes of gel components required for the setup of 3‑D Life Hydrogels of various compositions.

For detailed information please refer to the General Protocols for each type of gel.

  1. Section 1: Please enter the type of crosslinking chemistry and the type of crosslinker. Note that there are two different stock concentrations of crosslinkers, which will autmatically be entered according to your selection.
  2. Section 2: Enter the stock concentrations of your 3‑D Life reagents. This can be the concentration of provided stock solutions or dilutions you have prepared.
  3. Section 3: Enter the final crosslinking concentration, the final concentration of AgaFloat, added peptides and/or Thioglycerol.
  4. Section 4: Enter the volume of your biological sample (e. g. cell suspension, tissue fragments) and the total hydrogel volume.
  5. Click "Calculate Volumes" to receive your pipetting protocol. Click again after each change of hydrogel composition.
  6. Red bordered fields are mandatory to allow the calculation of a gel composition.
