Tumor cell aggregates were embedded in 3-D Life hydrogel in a tumor-on-chip model for the examination of the cytoxic effect mediated by a novel TRAIL-based immunoconjugate. Using this 3D culture model in a microfluidic system the authors demonstrate the cytotoxic efficacy of the immunoconjugate by applying live/dead assays and LDH-based cytotox assays on cells in the chip.Publications
