Duranti et al. (2025) Antineoplastic Activity of a Novel Trispecific Single-Chain Antibody Targeting the hERG1/β1 Integrin Complex and TRAIL Receptors. Mol. Cancer Ther. 24:1584–99 (Article)

Tumor cell aggregates were embedded in 3-D Life hydrogel in a tumor-on-chip model for the examination of the cytoxic effect mediated by a novel TRAIL-based immunoconjugate. Using this 3D culture model in a microfluidic system the authors demonstrate the cytotoxic efficacy of the immunoconjugate by applying live/dead assays and LDH-based cytotox assays on cells in the chip.
